Steward's Report
High Hopes was a late scratching at 11:20am due to non-arrival (GAR 31). A 28 day stand down period was imposed. Trainer, Mrs. S. Carswell was fined the sum of $100.
Jordy Shiack and Vanger Bale collided soon after the start. Montoey and Zipping Tazz collided approaching the first turn. Runaway Shaye, Montoey and Zipping Tazz collided on the first turn checking Zipping Tazz. Jordy Shiack and Vanger Bale collided on the first turn. Jordy Shiack checked off Zipping Tazz approaching the second turn. Vanger Bale galloped on the heels of Venom's Lad on the second turn checking Vanger Bale and severely checking Venom's Lad and Chief Brit.
Venom's Lad was vetted following the event. It was reported that the greyhound sustained a cut to its left hind toe. A 5 day stand down period was imposed.
