Da Goose and Dozen He Go collided approaching the first turn, checking Da Goose. Da Goose checked off Dozen He Go approaching the first turn. Son Of Nahwee checked off El Surrao approaching the first turn. Elswyk Max checked off Sheoak Red Man on the first turn. Dozen He Go checked off Son Of Nahwee and contacted the running rail approaching the home turn, severely checking Dozen He Go and Da Goose.

Cosmic Kade, Majimber Rock and Black Driftwood collided approaching the first turn, checking Black Driftwood. Andiamo Neo and Starzar Diamonds were slow to begin. He's Ma Bro and Miss Society collided approaching the first turn, severely checking He's Ma Bro, which stumbled and lost ground. Tankster and Rowdy Ronda collided on the first turn, checking Rowdy Ronda, which lost ground as a result. Starzar Diamonds and Rowdy Ronda collided approaching the home turn, checking Starzar Diamonds. Andiamo Neo and Tankster collided in the home straight. Tankster and Miss Society collided in the home straight. 

Miss Society was vetted following the event. It was reported that the greyhound sustained injuries to both monkey muscles, a 7 day stand down period was imposed. 

Stewards issued a warning to Ms. J. Imlach, the trainer of Miss Society regarding the greyhound’s racing manners in the home straight.

A sample was taken from Peregrin Stealth - the winner of the event.

Nitro Drill was slow to begin. Ringo Dingo and Three Day Shadow collided approaching the first turn, checking Ringo Dingo, Three Day Shadow and Rebound Rita. Three Day Shadow checked off Cleo's Boy on the first turn. Ringo Dingo and Cleo's Boy collided approaching the home turn. 

Cleo's Boy was vetted following the event. It was reported that there was no apparent injury found. 

Cosmic Coad and Aston Lydia were quick to begin. Dignity Diamond and Mega Torque collided approaching the first turn. Chuck's Me Boy and Macey's Queen collided approaching the first turn. Chuck's Me Boy, Macey's Queen and Where's Rhys collided on the first turn, checking Chuck's Me Boy and Macey's Queen. Dignity Diamond checked off Cosmic Coad approaching the home turn.

Hail Storming was quick to begin. Smoking Rosie and Flying Alf were slow to begin. Tywin Bale and Dyna Malaise collided soon after the start. Black Samsara and White Stinger raced wide in the home straight. Flying Alf and Dyna Malaise collided approaching the winning post.

Stewards spoke to Mr. F. Ryan regarding the direction that the greyhound Flying Alf be boxed first. Acting under GAR 52(2) Stewards directed that this box first be removed.

Maverick Dusty was a late scratching at 4:26pm due to injury (GAR 23).  A 10 day stand down period was imposed. Stewards will require a veterinary certificate before any future nomination will be accepted. 

Snow Gypsy and Cowrie collided soon after the start. Buckle Up Vicki, Lucky Liam and Pachacuti collided soon after the start. Pachacuti lost ground on the first turn and tailed off. Buckle Up Vicki checked off Cowrie on the home turn. Buckle Up Vicki and Lucky Liam raced wide in the home straight. Cowrie crossed to the outside approaching the winning post. 

Pachacuti was vetted following the event. It was reported that the greyhound sustained an injury to the left back muscle, a 30 day stand down period was imposed.
