Steward's Report
Spirited Revenge and Abscond was slow to begin. Spirited Revenge, Vasile Boy, Abscond and Dr Shiki collided on the first turn, checking Abscond, Dr Shiki and severely checking Vasile Boy. Our Miss Nitro and Abscond collided on the home turn.
Vasile Boy was vetted following the event. It was reported that the greyhound sustained an injury to the right shoulder, a 5 day stand down period was imposed.
Stewards spoke to trainer Mr V.Mihalache regarding the direction that the greyhound Vasile Boy be boxed first. Acting under GAR 52(2) Stewards directed that this box first be removed.
