Opal Flyer was a late scratching at 1:04 pm on the advice of the Club's Veterinary Surgeon due to injury. A 7 day stand down period was imposed. 

Totally Lost and Charming Ally were slow to begin. Totally Lost, Charming Ally and Smiley Girl collided soon after the start, checking Charming Ally. Totally Lost and Charming Ally collided approaching the first turn. Smiley Girl checked off Coffee Elizabeth on the first turn. Totally Lost checked off Charming Ally on the first turn. Charming Ally and Smiley Girl collided on the second turn and again on the third turn. Power For Lee and Charming Ally collided approaching the winning post.

Our Miss Penny and Jet Mikado were quick to begin. Polijuice Potion and Sacred Diamond collided approaching the first turn. Chivalry and Giddy Up collided approaching the first turn. Polijuice Potion, Sacred Diamond and Lever Action collided on the first turn, checking Polijuice Potion and Sacred Diamond. Polijuice Potion checked off Jet Mikado approaching the fourth turn. Sacred Diamond checked off Polijuice Potion on the home turn.

Dr Valhalla was slow to begin. Jayco Bale and Flying Bekim collided soon after the start, checking Jayco Bale. Jayco Bale and Seaside Daisy collided on the first turn. Flying Bekim and Ponting's Nail collided on the first turn, checking Ponting's Nail. Flying Bekim and Ponting's Nail collided on the second turn, checking Flying Bekim. Jayco Bale and Flying Bekim collided on the third turn. Dr Valhalla tired over the concluding stages of the event.

Flying Bekim was vetted following the event. It was reported that the greyhound sustained a right hind foot laceration, a 7 day stand down period was imposed.

Ablazin Mikado was quick to begin. Dr Leonardo and Aeroplane Becky were slow to begin. Dr Browine and Mum's Gem collided soon after the start. Dr Leonardo, Aeroplane Becky and Useful collided soon after the start, checking Aeroplane Becky. Dr Brownie, Who Told Harry and Dr Leonardo collided soon after the start. Who Told Harry and Dr Leonardo collided on the first turn, checking Dr Leonardo. Mum's Gem and Zou Zou Nee collided several times on the third turn. Who Told Harry galloped on the heels of Aeroplane Becky on the third turn. Dr Leonardo and Useful collided in the home straight. Zou Zou Nee tired over the concluding stages of the event.

Zou Zou Nee was vetted following the event. It was reported that there was no apparent injury found.

Stewards spoke to Mr J Booker, trainer of the greyhound Magic Rama in regards to the extended period of time between the greyhound's races.  Magic Rama last raced on the 15th March, 2015.  Mr Booker stated that Magic Rama was returning to race after being on season. Stewards noted Mr Booker's explanation.

Magic Rama was quick to begin. Road To Vegas was very slow to begin (five lengths). Dr Klaas, Sketchy, Kraken Nitro and Elfie collided soon after the start, checking Kraken Nitro and Elfie. Houston Bale, Dr Klaas and Sketchy collided approaching the first turn, checking Dr Klaas and Sketchy. Kraken Nitro and Elfie collided on the first turn, checking Kraken Nitro. Sketchy and Child's Dream collided on the second turn, checking Child's Dream. Road To Vegas and Child's Dream collided on the third turn, checking Road To Vegas. Sketchy and Elfie collided on the third turn, checking Elfie. Sketchy and Child's Dream collided in the home straight. Houston Bale and Dr Klaas collided in the home straight, checking Houston Bale.

Shot To Bits and Run Right Back were slow to begin. Tangam Flash, Rugall, Cosmic Vee Bee, Run Right Back, Pappa Gallo and Sisco Fiasco collided on the first turn, checking Run Right Back and Cosmic Vee Bee. Tangam Flash checked off Rugall on the first turn, checking Shot To Bits and Cosmic Vee Tee. Shot To Bits checked off Honeycomb Smooth approaching the second turn, severely checking Shot To Bits and Cosmic Vee Bee causing both greyhounds to race to wide and lose considerable ground. Tangam Flash checked off Sisco Fiasco approaching the third turn. Honeycomb Smooth and Run Right Back collided in the back straight.

Shot To Bits was vetted following the event. It was reported that the greyhound sustained an injury to the left monkey muscle, a 5 day stand down period was imposed.

Cosmic Vee Bee was vetted following the event. It was reported that there was no apparent injury found.

Run Right Back was vetted following the event. It was reported that there was no apparent injury found.

Spirited Revenge and Abscond was slow to begin. Spirited Revenge, Vasile Boy, Abscond and Dr Shiki collided on the first turn, checking Abscond, Dr Shiki and severely checking Vasile Boy. Our Miss Nitro and Abscond collided on the home turn.

Vasile Boy was vetted following the event. It was reported that the greyhound sustained an injury to the right shoulder, a 5 day stand down period was imposed.

Stewards spoke to trainer Mr V.Mihalache regarding the direction that the greyhound Vasile Boy be boxed first. Acting under GAR 52(2) Stewards directed that this box first be removed.

A sample was taken from Snooky - winner of the event.

Stewards spoke to Mr P Riley, representative of the greyhound Lucy Lobster in regards to the extended period of time between the greyhound's races.  Lucy Lobster last raced on the 10th April, 2015.  Mr Riley stated that Lucy Lobster was returning to race after suffering various injuries and also a change of kennel. Stewards noted Mr Riley's explanation.

Mr P Riley, representative of Lucy Lobster redeclared a new weight of 28.5 kg's for the greyhound in accordance with GAR 39(2). Lucy Lobster last raced at 30.1 kg's.

Motangi and Ester Bale were slow to begin. Big Bang Marjen and Motangi collided approaching the first turn. Kraken Soupy and Motangi collided on the first turn, checking Motangi. Big Bang Marjen and Motangi collided on the second turn, checking Motangi. Big Bang Marjen and Motangi collided entering the home straight.

Razldazl Pacino, Twist Of Thunder and Serco Bale were slow to begin. Tiny Oasis, Razldazl Pacino and Twist Of Thunder collided soon after the start, checking Razldazl Pacino. Tiny Oasis and Serco Bale collided on the first turn, checking Razldazl Pacino. Immortal Power and Rashad Reason collided on the first turn, checking both greyhounds. Razldazl Pacino checked off Tiny Oasis approaching the second turn. Rashad Reason and Pendles Power collided on the second turn. Immortal Power and Serco Bale collided on the second turn, checking Twist Of Thunder. Immortal Power and Twist Of Thunder collided in the back straight.

Daintree Puzzle was quick to begin. Kraken Flash and Andy Jay were slow to begin. Kraken Flash, Miss Monteya and Andy Jay collided soon after the start, checking Miss Monteya and Andy Jay. Pen Shaw, Smokey Whispers, Lucky Two Lips and Faith In Bear collided approaching the first turn, checking Lucky Two Lips, Faith In Bear and Miss Monteya. Pen Shaw checked off Daintree Puzzle on the first turn. Miss Monteya checked off Faith In Bear on the first turn. Pen Shaw and Smokey Whispers collided entering the back straight, severely checking Pen Shaw. Andy Jay checked off Faith In Bear approaching the fourth turn. Kraken Flash and Smokey Whispers collided approaching the fourth turn, checking Smokey Whispers. Andy Jay and Lucky Two Lips collided approaching the home turn, checking Lucky Two Lips. Andy Jay checked off Miss Monteya on the home turn. Miss Monteya checked off Faith In Bear in the home straight.

Pen Shaw was vetted following the event. It was reported that the greyhound sustained spike wounds to the right hind. No stand down period was imposed.

Cincinnati Lee was quick to begin. Dr Samson and Call Me Scary collided soon after the start, checking Call Me Scary. Blue Mayhem, Hardaway Drifter and In This Way collided soon after the start. Call Me Scary and In This Way collided on the first turn. Dr Samson and Hardaway Drifter collided approaching the second turn, checking Dr Samson and causing Hardaway Drifter to falter and tail off. Call Me Scary raced wide in the back straight.

Hardaway Drifter was vetted and after being re-vetted following event 12, it was reported that the greyhound sustained an injury to the right shoulder, a 10 day stand down period was imposed.

Dubsy Russell, Quizmaster, Have A Tinnie and Tina Two were slow to begin. Tekki Twist and Dubsy Russell collided soon after the start, checking Dubsy Russell. Have A Tinnie checked off Tina Two on the second turn. Tina Two checked off Our Spinner on the third turn. Tekki Twist, Our Spinner and Tina Two collided on the third turn, severely checking Our Spinner and Tina Two. Dubsy Russell, Our Spinner and Tina Two collided on the third turn, checking Our Spinner, Tina Two and Have A Tinnie.
