Steward's Report
Bee Jay's Pedro, Madame Patricia and Crown Ducal were slow to begin. Cosmic Snow and Loveable Lyn collided soon after the start checking Cosmic Snow. Cosmic Snow, Bee Jay's Pedro and Madame Patricia. Talon Miss, Loveable Lyn, Fairy Horse and Why Not King collided on the first turn checking Why Not King, Fairy Horse, Bee Jay's Pedro and severely checking Loveable Lyn and Crown Ducal; Crown Ducal contacted the running rail and lost considerable ground. Cosmic Snow and Madame Patricia collided on the first turn checking Cosmic Snow. Bee Jay's Pedro checked off the heels of Loveable Lyn approaching the home turn.
Crown Ducal was vetted following the event. It was reported that the greyhound sustained a left calf injury, a 5 day stand down period was imposed.
