Steward's Report
A pre-race sample was taken from Dyna Camo.
Dyna Camo was slow to begin. Zipping Johnny stumbled at box rise and was very slow to begin (8 Lengths). Signal Peak and Show Bag Carter collided approaching the first turn, checking Show Bag Carter. Signal Peak and World's On Fire collided approaching the home turn. Dyna Yavin eased in the home straight.
Stewards spoke to Mr. J. Collins, the handler of the greyhound Dyna Yavin regarding the greyhounds racing manners in the home straight. Dyna Yavin was vetted following the event. It was reported that the greyhound sustained injuries to the left sesamoid and left quadriceps, a 5 day stand down period was imposed. Acting under GAR 69(B)(1), the stewards charged Dyna Yavin with failing to pursue the lure with due commitment (by reason of injury). Mr. Collins pleaded guilty to the charge, Dyna Yavin was found guilty and stewards directed that the greyhound perform a Satisfactory Trial (all tracks) pursuant to GAR 69(B)(1)(a), before any future nomination will be accepted.
