Dusty Leads and Mayfair Miss collided soon after the start.  Little Nova crossed to the rail soon after the start, checking Ziggy Cruel, Nanny's Poppy and Parto's Pin.  Belron Del and Ziggy Cruel collided at the 300m mark.  Belron Del checked off Little Nova at the 150m mark.  Dusty Leads eased approaching the 50m mark, checking Belron Del.

Dusty Leads was vetted following the event and after being re-vetted following race 4, it was reported that there was no apparent injury found.

Stewards spoke to Mr. G. Condon, the trainer of the greyhound Dusty Leads regarding the greyhounds racing manners at the 100m mark.  Acting under GAR 69(A)(1) stewards charged Dusty Leads with failing to pursue the lure with due commitment. Mr. Condon pleaded guilty to the charge, Dusty Leads was found guilty and suspended for 28 days at Healesville and it was directed that the greyhound perform a Satisfactory Trial (all tracks), pursuant to GAR 69(A)(2)(a) before any future nomination will be accepted.

Can You was a late scratching at 8:21am due to injury (GAR 23).  A 10 day stand down period was imposed. Stewards will require a veterinary certificate before any future nomination will be accepted. 

A pre race sample was taken from Weekend In Paris.

Caleb's Boy was very slow to begin (3 lengths).  Weekend In Paris went up with the lids at box rise and was very slow to begin.  Parto's Path and Mirror Reality collided soon after the start.  Tangoette checked off Parto's Path at the 300m mark.  Caleb's Boy and Tangoette collided at the 150m mark.

State Of Oasis, Superior Swagger and Motivate Her collided soon after the start, checking Superior Swagger.  Buzman Benz crossed to the rail soon after the start and collided with Dozer Gold, Massive Attack and Princess Briana, checking Full Blown Turbo.  Buzman Benz, Dozer Gold and Massive Attack collided at the 300m mark, checking all three greyhounds.  State Of Oasis checked off Motivate Her at the 300m mark and raced wide.  Full Blown Turbo crossed to the outside at the 250m mark.  Buzman Benz and Dozer Gold collided at the 250m mark.  Dozer Gold checked off Buzman Benz at the 200m mark.

Mr. J. Stemmer was fined the sum of $50 for failing to ensure the registration card/weight card were produced for the greyhound Stella's Grace pursuant to GAR 33.

A pre race sample was taken from Unbackable.

Tom's Gift was slow to begin.  Unbackable, Stella's Grace and Kid Carl collided soon after the start.  Kid Carl and To Dee Rhythm collided at the 250m mark.  Kid Carl and To Dee Rhythm collided at the 200m mark.  Stella's Grace checked off Tom's Gift approaching the winning post.

A pre race sample was taken from Dr. Yanma.

Cosmic Kade, Irish Connection and Kim Kadash collided soon after the start.  Irish Connection, Uno Buddy, Dream Ticket and Dr. Yanma collided at the 200m mark, checking Dream Ticket.  Irish Connection and Dr. Yanma collided approaching the winning post.

An Out of Competition Sample was taken from Admiral Bay engaged in this event on 20 September 2016 pursuant to GAR 79A.

A pre race sample was taken from Pretty Machine.

He's An Omen, Pretty Machine and Gilberto collided soon after the start.  He's An Omen and Pretty Machine collided several times from approaching the 200m mark until the 150m mark, checking both greyhounds.  He's An Omen and Conspiracy collided at the 100m mark.

A sample was taken from Spritely Pizazz - the winner of the event.

Wombat was vetted following the event.  It was reported that the greyhound sustained an injured right shoulder, a 7 day stand down period was imposed.

Charlie Three was slow to begin.  Silvermere and Vista King collided soon after the start.  Rick Grimes and Vista King collided at the 200m mark.  Rick Grimes, Krisbar Fly Half and Emilia Cash collided at the 150m mark, severely checking Krisbar Fly Half which stumbled as a result.

A pre race was taken from Extradition.

This event was declared a no race after it was established the greyhound Extradition made contact with the lure soon after the start, pursuant to GAR 55(2).

Stewards spoke to lure driver Mr. G. Bahen and issued him with a warning regarding GAR 55(2) and referred the matter to the Club Manager.

A pre race sample was taken from Smart Tornado.

Tekki Cloud was very slow to begin (10 lengths) and tailed off.  Bab's On Parole and Tamile Lass collided soon after the start.  Snaphook Sticka and Black Widow collided approaching the 150m mark and again approaching the winning post.

Tekki Cloud was vetted following the event.  It was reported that the greyhound sustained an injured to the right hind webbing, a 21 day stand down period was imposed.

Chase's Chance was slow to begin.  Arejay Belle and Fear Fire collided soon after the start.  Break The Code, Fear Fire and Selynya Prince collided at the 250m mark.  Break The Code and Selynya Prince collided several times from the 250m mark until the 200m mark.

Hello Sunshine was a late scratching at 10:17am by order of Stewards. 

Rose Of Dyanna was slow to begin.  Archie Ninkasi and Pud collided soon after the start.  Archie Ninkasi, Oaklands and Sketchy Chief collided at the 250m mark.  Archie Ninkasi and Sketchy Chief collided at the 200m mark.  Rose Of Dyanna, Archie Ninkasi and Sketchy Chief collided at the 100m mark, checking Rose Of Dyanna.

Good Odds Jet and Hardaway Terror collided at the 250m mark.  Telling Lies galloped on the heels of Add 'Em Up at the 100m mark, checking both greyhounds.
