A pre race sample was taken from Fear The Boss.
Signal Peak was slow to begin.
Spring Bomber, Dr. Yanma and Connemara Black collided soon after the start checking all three greyhounds. Bills Back and Connemara Black collided approaching the first turn. Signal Peak and Fear The Boss collided approaching the first turn checking Fear The Boss. Signal Peak galloped on the heels of Morson Senor approaching the home turn checking both greyhounds. Bills Back checked off Signal Peak approaching the home turn. Morson Senor and Bills Back collided in the home straight.
Stewards spoke to Mr C. Smith trainer regarding the direction that the greyhound Bills Back be boxed first. Acting under GAR 52(2) Stewards directed that this box first be removed.
