Daintree Teacake and Blazing Nitro collided soon after the start checking Daintree Teacake. Bibbi and My Name's Emma collided soon after the start. Burst Through and Hardaway Terror collided soon after the start checking Burst Through. Jellybean Jess and My Name's Emma collided approaching the first turn checking Jellybean Jess. Bibbi galloped on the heels of Jellybean Jess approaching the first turn and on the first turn. Bibbi and Burst Through collided on the first turn checking Burst Through. Blazing Nitro and Before My Time collided approaching the home turn checking Blazing Nitro. Hardaway Terror and Before My Time collided approaching the winning post.
Stewards spoke to Mr. R. Matthews regarding the direction that the greyhound Daintree Teacake be boxed first. Acting under GAR 52(2) Stewards directed that this box first be removed.
Satisfactory Trial Results (GAR 77A) - Stewards spoke to Mr. D. Bunn, the trainer of Stealthy Dream regarding the length of time since the greyhound last raced. Stealthy Dream last raced on 6 January 2016. Mr. Bunn stated that due to work commitments he has been unable to race the greyhound. Pursuant to GAR 77A, Stealthy Dream trialled over the 425 mt from box 1, weight 26.4kg, the greyhound was placed 3rd in a field of 4. The time of the trial was 24.28, the greyhound was beaten by a margin of 8.5L. Stealthy Dream was Cleared.
