Flat Twin and Lektra Rival were slow to begin.  Joyous was quick to begin.  Flat Twin checked off Invented soon after the start.  Snap Hook and Fair Of Face collided on the first turn, checking Snap Hook.  Lektra Rival checked off Invented approaching the home turn.  My Arizona Room and Joyous collided in the home straight, checking Joyous.  My Arizona Room and Lektra Boss collided approaching the winning post.

Surf In Vane went up with the lids and lost ground.  Who Took Johny was slow to begin  Lektra Ash and Antoine collided soon after the start.  Lektra Ash and Antoine collided approaching the first turn, checking Antoine.  Surf In Vane and Joffa's Old Girl collided on the first turn, checking Antoine, Surf In Vane and Country Jane.  Surf In Vane and Who Took Johny collided approaching the home turn and again entering the home straight.  Surf In Vane checked off Who Took Johny in the home straight.  Lektra Ash raced wide throughout the event.

Fireball Jack, Doobstar and Blazin' Vicky collided soon after the start, checking Doobstar and severely checking Blazin' Vicky.  Teflon Travis and Erica McKenna collided approaching the first turn, checking Erica McKenna.  Mugs Away and Erica McKenna collided on the first turn, checking Erica McKenna and Doobstar.  Mugs Away, Fireball Jack and Menindee collided approaching the winning post.

Weeping Lass was slow to begin.  Brazen Fool and Dynamic Spin collided on the first turn, severely checking Brazen Fool.  Bigbad Fiji and Weeping Lass collided approaching the home turn, severely checking Weeping Lass which fell as a result.

Weeping Lass was vetted following the event.  It was reported that the greyhound sustained a spike wound to the right hindleg metatarsal.  No stand down period was imposed.

Schooner Doll was quick to begin.  Smart Maxwell was slow to begin.  Brazen Bomber and Cashin' In collided soon after the start, checking Cashin' In.  Kirk Bale and Glitterbug collided approaching the first turn, checking Kirk Bale.  Glitterbug checked off Bucky Boy approaching the home turn, severely checking Brazen Bomber and Smart Maxwell.  Schooner Doll raced wide on the home turn.  Schooner Doll and Brazen Bomber collided in the home straight.

Mrs S McKie, kennel representative of Elle's Diva, declared a new weight of 27.2kg  for the greyhound in accordance with GAR 39(2).  Elle's Diva last raced at 25.4kg.

Country Flash was slow to begin.  Crackerjack Surf, Elle's Diva and Lektra Aly collided approaching the first turn.  Shot To Glory checked off Eureka Osti approaching the home turn.

Crackerjack Surf was vetted following the event.  It was reported that the greyhound sustained left and right hindleg pencil injuries, a three day stand down period was imposed.

Lektra Elusive, Cruisen Billy and Rebel Lady were slow to begin.  Red Hot Millie checked off Cruiser's Sol approaching the first turn.  Charlie Rocket checked off Peragon Falcon on the first turn, checking Cruiser's Sol, Red Hot Millie and Cruisen Billy, severely checking Uptown Funk and Charlie Rocket, and causing Charlie Rocket to fall as a result.  Lektra Elusive and Peragon Falcon collided on the home turn.  Cruiser's Sol and Rebel Lady collided entering the home straight and again in the home straight.

Charlie Rocket was vetted following the event.  It was reported that there was no apparent injury found.

Suspicious Joe and Pacific Magic were slow to begin.  Over The Radar, Jesterday and Fovevere Merry collided soon after the start, checking Jesterday.  Forever Merry checked off Lady Capulet on the first turn, checking Over The Radar.  Over The Radar and Pacific Magic collided entering the home straight.  Red Hot Bella raced wide in the home straight.

Suspicious Joe was vetted following the event.  It was reported that the greyhound sustained cracked/broken nail right foreleg, a seven day stand down period was imposed.

Stewards spoke to Mr  R Clark, the trainer of Mystic Marlow, regarding the length of time the greyhound has had between races.  Mystic Marlow last raced on 24 May 2016.  Mr Clark stated that the greyhound was returning to racing after an illness.

One Mississippi and Pop Ya Bubble were slow to begin.  Connie Bale and Handsome Cosmo collided soon after the start.  One Mississippi checked off Mystic Marlow approaching the first turn.  Lektra Oscar and Handsome Cosmo collided on the first turn, checking Lektra Oscar.  Lektra Damage and Mystic Marlow collided approaching the home turn, checking One Mississippi.  Handsome Cosmo and Connie Bale collided approaching the home turn.  Mystic Marlow raced wide on the home turn.  Pop Ya Bubble raced wide in the home straight.  Connie Bale checked off Lektra Damage in the home straight.

Satisfactory Trial Results (GAR 77A) - Stewards spoke to Mr J Quinlivian, the trainer of Disaaci regarding the length of time since the greyhound last raced.  Disaaci last raced on 7 August 2016. Mr Quinlivian stated that the greyhound was returning to racing from retirement.  Pursuant to GAR 77A, Disaaci trialled over the 410m from box five, weight 31.4kg, the greyhound was placed first in a field of four. The time of the trial was 23.61, the greyhound won by a margin of two lengths. Disaaci was Cleared.
