Star's Big Boy was quick to begin. Smooth Silver and Sillybilly Bling collided soon after the start. Top Sprite and King Of Sunshine collided soon after the start checking both greyhounds. Just Smile and Top Sprite collided on the first turn checking Sillybilly Bling, Just Smile and Top Sprite. Smooth Silver checked off King Of Sunshine on the first turn checking Who Told Lindylu and Top Sprite. Just Smile, Top Sprite and Who Told Lindylu collided approaching the home turn checking Sillybilly Biling, Just Smile, Top Sprite and Who Told Lindylu. Smooth Silver checked off Top Sprite on the home turn.

Nitrolicious last raced on 22 February 2016. Mr Rutland stated that Nitrolicious was returning from a spell, pursuant to GAR 77A. The greyhound trialled over the 400m from Box 1, weight 26.2 kg's, the greyhound was placed 3rd in a field of 5. The time of the trial was 22.72, the greyhound was beaten a margin of 11.25 lengths. Nitrolicious was Cleared.
Satisfactory Trial Results - Laugh With Mary trialled over the 460m from Box 7, weight 26.6 kg's,the greyhound was placed 1st in a field of 4.The time of the trial was 26.27, the greyhound won bya margin of 4.75 lengths. Laugh With Mary was cleared.
