The start time to this event was amended to 3.43pm at the request of Sky Racing.
Connemara Xav and Tom's Gift were slow to begin. Groucho and Henry's Fault collided soon after the start. Dave's Mistake and Superior Shane collided soon after the start. Superior Shane and Benny The Jet collided soon after the start. Hogwart's Express crossed to the outside at the 300m mark, checking Dave's Mistake. Hogwart's Express and Dave's Mistake collided at the 250m mark. Benny The Jet and Henry's Fault collided at the 150m mark.
A sample was taken from Connemara Xav - the winner of the event.
Dave's Mistake was vetted following the event. It was reported that the greyhound sustained an injured left shoulder, a 10 day stand down period was imposed.
