RACE 1:

Alpha Ares and Aeroplane Becky were slow to begin.  Dublin Bull and Cousin Cosmo collided soon after the start and again approaching the first turn.   Cousin Cosmo and Polijuice Potion collided approaching the first turn. Aeroplane Becky raced wide on the first turn.   Dublin Bull and Cousin Cosmo collided on the first turn and again approaching the second turn checking Cousin Cosmo.  Dublin Bull checked off the heels of Igor Karkaroff on the second turn.  Cousin Cosmo and Polijuice Potion collided entering the back straight.

Wind Whistler was slow to begin.  Dyna Yemen and Dyna Nihilist collided soon after the start.  Scenic Shot crossed to the rails on the first turn checking Dyna Yemen, Evers Bale and Cosmic Owl.  Wind Whistler and Yaris Bale collided on the third turn and again in the back straight.  Scenic Shot checked off the heels of Evers Bale on the fourth turn checking Wind Whistler.

Scenic Shot was vetted following the event.  It was reported that there was no apparent injury found.

Stewards questioned Mr. J Shaw (representative for Trainer - Mr J Britton) regarding the spelling period of greyhound, Oakvale Destiny, which has not competed since performing at Wentworth Park on 23 January, 2015.  Mr. Shaw advised the Stewards that the greyhound was returning to racing following a hock injury.

Zelemar Zest was quick to begin.  Oakvale Destiny was slow to begin.  Dyna Chaser, Shirdon Connorae and Athos collided soon after the start checking Dyna Chaser and Athos.  Hisagi Bale and Under Taker collided soon after the start.  Under Taker and Shirdon Connorae collided approaching the first turn.  Oakvale Destiny checked off the heels of Athos approaching the first turn.  Spring Gambo and Hisagi Bale collided several times on the first turn.  Shirdon Connorae and Athos collided on the first turn.  Shirdon Connorae checked off the heels of Hisagi Bale approaching the second turn.  Under Taker and Oakvale Destiny collided approaching the second turn.  Under Taker checked off the heels of Hisagi Bale and collided with Shirdon Connorae checking Oakvale Destiny on the second turn.  Dyna Chaser checked off the heels of Under Taker on the third turn.  Under Taker, Shirdon Connorae and Oakvale Destiny collided on the third turn checking Oakvale Destiny.  Spring Gambo checked off the heels of Zelemar Zest on the third turn and again approaching the home turn.  Dyna Chaser, Shirdon Connorae and Oakvale Destiny collided on the home turn checking Shirdon Connorae.

Cuervo Shot, Le Luca, Governor Bale and Trail Blazing were slow to begin.  Le Luca, Governor Bale and Trail Blazing collided soon after the start checking Governor Bale.  Greysynd Emma, Premier Hawk and Cosmic Vee Bee collided soon after the start.  Cosmic Vee Bee, Le Luca and Trail Blazing collided approaching the first turn.  Greysynd Emma, Cosmic Vee Bee, Cuervo Shot, Le Luca and Trail Blazing collided on the first turn checking Greysynd Emma and Trail Blazing severely checking Le Luca, Governor Bale, Cosmic Vee Bee and Cuervo Shot.  Cosmic Vee Bee and Trail Blazing collided on the second turn and again in the back straight.  Premier Hawk and Le Luca collided on the home turn.

Good Judge Buddy was slow to begin.  College Queen, Soft Ballad and Harlem Shake collided soon after the start checking Soft Ballad.  Belena Jake, Tybellene and Mander Lark collided approaching the first turn checking Belena Jake and Tybellene.  College Queen and Harlem Shake collided on the first turn.  Belena Jake and Good Judge Buddy collided on the first turn.  Soft Ballad checked off the heels of Tybellene on the first turn.  Mander Lark eased and collided with Bronco De Jurer approaching the second turn checking Harlem Shake, Mander Lark and Bronco De Jurer.  College Queen eased on the second turn.  Belena Jake checked off the heels of Bronco De Jurer in the back straight.  Belena Jake checked off the heels of Harlem Shake in the back straight.  Harlem Shake and Mander Lark collided in the back straight.  Soft Ballad checked off the heels of Mander Lark on the third turn.

Stewards spoke to Mr. S Barker, Trainer of the greyhound Mander Lark, regarding the greyhound's racing manners approaching the second turn.  Mander Lark was vetted following the event.  It was reported that the greyhound sustained injuries to the left wrist, left-fore sesamoid, right triceps and right calf, a 10 day stand down period was imposed.  Acting under GAR69(b)(1), the Stewards charged Mander Lark with failing to pursue the lure with due commitment (by reason of injury).  Mr. S. Barker pleaded guilty to the charge.  Mander Lark was found guilty and stewards directed that the greyhound perform a Satisfactory Trial (all tracks) pursuant to GAR69(b)(1)(a) before any future nomination will be accepted.

MysticTwist was vetted following the event.  It was reported the greyhound sustained injuries to the right wrist, a 7 day stand down period was imposed.
