Houston Bale and Snooky were slow to begin and collided soon after the start.  Sketchy and Dr. Klaas collided soon after the start.  Houston Bale and Snooky collided approaching the first turn.  Zipping Chrystal checked off Abscond on the first turn checking Dr. Klaas and Magic Rama.  Sketchy and Snooky collided on the third turn checking Sketchy, severely checking Snooky.  Snooky veered out and marred Magic Rama on the home turn checking Magic Rama.

Snooky was vetted following the event.  It was reported that there was no apparent injury found.  Stewards spoke to Ms K. Smith, Representative for Trainer of Snooky.   Acting under GAR 69(1), Stewards charged Snooky with marring.  Ms Smith pleaded guilty to the charge, Snooky was found guilty and suspended for 28 days at Sandown Park and directed that the greyhound perform a Satisfactory Trial, All Tracks, pursuant to GAR 69(2)(a) before any future nomination will be accepted.

Akando and City Rambler were slow to begin.  Akando and Gazer Bale collided approaching the first turn.  Tekki Minx checked off Mepunga Treasure on the first turn.  Akando checked off Who Dey on the second turn.  City Rambler checked off Akando on the second turn.

Creative Karisma and Quarrel Bale were slow to begin.  Call Me Gee and West On Delly collided soon after the start.  Aston Gatum, Call Me Gee and West On Delly collided approaching the first turn.  Aston Gatum severely checked off Beyond Today on the first turn checking Quarrel Bale, Call Me Gee and West On Delly.

American Muscle, Rivergum Drive and Miss Harmony were slow to begin.  Inter Lucy and Samus Allen collided on the first turn.  Conquer Fear and Rivergum Drive collided on the first turn.  Rivergum Drive checked off Conquer Fear on the second turn and again on the third turn.  American Muscle checked off Rivergum Drive in the home straight.

Margins, Above All and Weston East were slow to begin.  Mepunga Armagh and Lamia Bale collided on the first turn.  Above All and Weston East raced wide approaching the second turn.  Kayda Shae, Margins and Fernando Bale collided approaching the home turn.
