Laboomba and Fear Helvetia were slow to begin. Carve and Billy Beergarden collided soon after the start. Saywah Tonayo and Talanjee Stiff collided approaching the first turn. Laboomba checked off Fear Helvetia approaching the first turn. Carve checked off Talanjee Stiff on the first turn. Carve checked off Iona Cece on the first turn, checking Billy Beergarden. Laboomba checked off Billy Beergarden on the home turn and raced wide.
