Steward's Report
Due to a malfunction with the timing system, caused by the first split not registering, the time of the race was recorded as 26.22 (Beam Time).
Reverie, Ressler and Lynlea Jake were slow to begin. Iona Machine was quick to begin. Arolok Jane and Kirabilli Lacey collided approaching the first turn and again on the first turn. Kirabilli Lacey checked off Ressler on the first turn. Ressler crossed to the rail approaching the home turn, checking Arolok Jane and Argenta. Reverie, Argenta, Iona Muffin Top and Lynlea Jake collided approaching the home turn, checking Iona Muffin Top. Iona Muffin Top and Argenta collided on the home turn. Kirabilli Lacey raced wide in the home straight. Argenta checked off Iona Muffin Top in the home straight.
Argenta was vetted following the event. It was reported that the greyhound sustained an injury to the left thigh, a 10 day stand down period was imposed.
