A pre race sample was taken from Mott Haven.
Cavalia and Clovalley Rang were slow to begin. Ruby's Faith and Midnight Osti collided soon after the start. Lavie Belle and Mott Haven collided approaching the 250m mark. Ruby's Faith, Midnight Osti, Lavie Belle and Mott Haven collided at the 250m mark, checking Lavie Belle. Ruby's Faith and Mott Haven collided approaching the 150m mark. Cavalia and Midnight Osti collided at the 100m mark. Lila's Girl and Mott Haven collided approaching the winning post.
Ruby's Faith was vetted following the event. It was reported that the greyhound sustained lower back soreness, a 10 day stand down period was imposed.

Track Curator L. Rowe advised stewards that the track was lightly harrowed on 23/07/2015.
Satisfactory Trial Results - Cosmic Moon trialled over the 300m from box 1, weight 32.0kgs, the greyhound was placed 3rd in a field of 5. The time of the trial was 17.31, the greyhound was beaten a margin of 4 lengths. Cosmic Moon was cleared for straight track racing only.
