Steward's Report
Lace Parasol, Talanjee Stiff and Rimpac were quick to begin. Saint Oaks and Arolok Ollie were slow to begin. Simply Vivacious and Teecee Raider collided soon after the start. Teecee Raider and Arolok Ollie collided approaching the first turn. Saint Oaks, Arolok Ollie and Simply Vivacious collided on the home turn, checking Arolok Ollie. Teecee Raider and Arolok Ollie raced wide in the home straight.
Stewards attempted to speak to Mr. G. Turnbull, the trainer of Jacana and handler of Rimpac, regarding his failure to appear at the kennels by the appointed time to retrieve the greyhounds for racing. Mr. Turnbull departed before Stewards had the opportunity to discuss the matter. Stewards will be in contact with Mr. Turnbull at a later date.
