Teecee Raider and Arolok Ollie collided approaching the first turn. Saint Oaks, Arolok Ollie and Simply Vivacious collided on the home turn, checking Arolok Ollie. Teecee Raider and Arolok Ollie raced wide in the home straight. 

Stewards attempted to speak to Mr. G. Turnbull, the trainer of Jacana and handler of Rimpac, regarding his failure to appear at the kennels by the appointed time to retrieve the greyhounds for racing. Mr. Turnbull departed before Stewards had the opportunity to discuss the matter. Stewards will be in contact with Mr. Turnbull at a later date. 

Happy Hudson was quick to begin. Lynlea Jake and Reverie were slow to begin. Lynlea Jake and Reverie collided soon after the start. Noosa Jet and Podium Chance collided approaching the first turn. Shirdon Connorae, Pretty Boy Grigg and Happy Hudson collided on the first turn, checking Pretty Boy Grigg. Lynlea Jake and Reverie collided on the first turn. Don's Shy Girl was vetted following the event. It was reported that there was no apparent injury found. 

A sample was taken from Heart In Motion - the winner of the event. 

Ma Ma Keogh and Project Pat were slow to begin. Elite Lucy and Somebody's Image collided soon after the start. Oh Lele Suzi and Jasmine Lilly collided on the first turn. Elite Lucy and Somebody's Image collided on the first turn. Project Pat stumbled on the first turn. Lord Kitchener and Destinee Saint collided on the first turn. Oh Lele Suzi and Jasmine Lilly collided on the second turn.

Project Pat was vetted following the event. It was reported that that greyhound sustained an injury to the left back muscle, a 5 day stand down period was imposed. 

Oh Lele Suzi was vetted following the event. It was reported that the greyhound sustained an injury to the left hip and left pencil muscle, a 7 day stand down period was imposed. 

A sample was taken from Lord Kitchener - the winner of the event. 

Mr. B. Fish, trainer of Boris Bekim redeclared a new weight of 34.4kg for the greyhound in accordance with GAR 39(2). Boris Bekim last raced at 35.8kg.

Snapper's Mate was vetted prior to the event at the boxes, delaying the race by 3.42 minutes.Snapper's Mate was passed fit to run. 

Cosmic Daicos and Boris Bekim were slow to begin. Snapper's Mate, Lektra Hawk, Blue McCool and Elbow Room collided soon after the start. A pre race sample was attempted to be taken from Aston Maveric, but due to the veterinary surgeon being called away a post race sample was subsequently taken.

Touch Of Frost was vetted following the event. It was reported that the greyhound sustained an injury to the left wrist, a 21 day stand down period was imposed. 

Grand Slam Diva, Senor Laurie, Ay Goodes and Fourier Bale collided soon after the start. Mr. Snackman, Grand Slam Diva and Fear The Best collided soon after the start, checking Grand Slam Diva. Teddy's Moment, Mr. Snackman and Fear The Best collided on the first turn. 

Road Trip Blues went up with the lids at box rise. Weeping Lass was quick to begin. Pingu, Road Trip Blues and Dyna Quote collided soon after the start.
