Glenville James checked off Magic Bunny on the first turn checking Aries Queen. Margaret Jean raced wide on the first turn. Aries Queen and Melos Girlfriend collided in the back straight checking Aries Queen.

Aries Queen was vetted following the event. It was reported that the greyhound sustained an injury to the right calf. A 5 day stand down period was imposed.

Glenville James was vetted following the event. It was reported that the greyhound sustained injuries to the right shoulder, right wrist and right metacarpal. A 10 day stand down period was imposed.

It's A Steal was slow to begin. Uno Whirl, Reap The Benefit and Sir Murray collided soon after the start. Quaint Bale and Spa Primrose collided on the first turn. Lioness Lulu and Our Shiraz collided on the first turn. Spa Primrose, Uno Whirl, Reap The Benefit and Sir Murray collided on the first turn checking Reap The Benefit. It's A Steal checked off Uno Whirl in the front straight. Uno Whirl checked off Quaint Bale approaching the second turn. Spa Primrose and Sir Murray collided on the second turn. Stewards spoke to Mr K. Hunt, the trainer of the greyhound It's A Steal regarding the greyhound's racing manners in the back straight. It's A Steal was vetted following the event. It was reported that the greyhound sustained an injury to the right monkey muscle, a 14 day stand down period was imposed. Acting under GAR 69(B)(1) stewards charged It's A Steal with failing to pursue the lure with due commitment (by reason of injury). Mr K. Hunt pleaded not guilty to the charge. It's A Steal was found guilty and stewards directed that the greyhound perform a satisfactory trial (all tracks) pursuant to GAR 69(B)(1)(a), before any future nomination will be accepted.

Ninety Five, Ice Toronado, Cambridge Prince and Irish Sparkle collided on the first turn checking Cambridge Prince and Irish Sparkle and severely checking Ninety Five and Ice Toronado. Ninety Five and Cambridge Prince collided in the front straight. Cambridge Prince and Irish Sparkle collided on the second turn. City Rambler and Chivalry collided approaching the third turn. Ninety Five checked off Irish Sparkle on the third turn. Cambridge Prince galloped on the heels of Chivalry on the third turn severely checking Chivalry. Irish Sparkle checked off Cambridge Prince on the fourth turn. Ninety Five, Ice Toronado and Irish Sparkle collided on the fouth turn. Sahara, Coota's Cazaly, Sky Alert, Oscar De Snowman, Penny's For Me and Jack Winter collided soon after the start checking Coota's Cazaly. Sahara checked off Paua Invader approaching the first turn. Gun Smoke Stumpy and Miss Monteya collided entering the front straight. Mademoiselle Sox checked off Chucka Bone on the second turn. Zipping Chrystal checked off Miss Monteya on the second turn. Prince Django and Major Crush collided on the second turn. Mademoiselle Sox checked off Prince Django on the third turn. American Muscle and Skyfire collided soon after the start. American Muscle, Skyfire and Allen Icarus collided approaching the first turn. Doing Chewing, Julie Bale, Stop Moochin' and My Name's Debbie collided approaching the first turn. Allen Icarus crossed to the rail on the first turn checking Skyfire, American Muscle and My Name's Debbie. Julie Bale, Pocket Kings and My Name's Debbie collided on the first turn checking Pocket Kings, My Name's Debbie, American Muscle and Skyfire. Pocket Kings and American Muscle collided approaching the third turn. Doing Chewing and Skyfire collided on the home turn. Julie Bale, Stop Moochin' and Allen Icarus collided entering the home straight causing Stop Moochin' to fall, severely checking Doing Chewing and Pocket Kings.

Stop Moochin' was vetted following the event. It was reported that there was no apparent injury found.

Cette Away was slow to begin. Tina Two and Cette Away collided approaching the first turn. Yoko and Tontoria collided approaching the first turn. Crackerjack Rose checked off Lamia Bale on the first turn. Yoko, Tontoria, Tina Two, Cette Away collided on the first turn checking Yoko, Tontoria and Tina Two. Tontoria and Tina Two collided approaching the second turn. Tontoria faltered on the second turn and pulled up, severely checking Tina Two.

Tontoria was vetted following the event. It was reported that the greyhound sustained a fractured right hock and was humanely euthanised.

Ate Grand Kids was slow to begin. Just A Dot, Charlees Jackpot and Ryno's Raider collided on the first turn checking Just A Dot.  Shankill Mo, Sir Charelton and Ryno's Raider collided on the first turn checking Sir Charleton and Ate Grand Kids and severely checking Shankill Mo which stumbled and lost ground. Irish Asteria and Madame Black collided on the first turn. Just A Dot and Sir Charleton collided in the front straight. Irish Asteria and Ate Grand Kids collided on the second turn. Just A Dot checked off Ryno's Raider on the third turn. Ate Grand Kids checked off Just A Dot approaching the home turn and again on the home turn. Irish Asteria and Madame Black collided entering the home straight.

Shankill Mo was vetted following the event. It was reported that there was no apparent injury found.

Allen Portland was a late scratching at 2:47pm on the advice of the Club's Veterinary Suregon due to dehydration. A 7 day stand down period was imposed.

Dark Obsession was slow to begin and crossed to the rail soon after the start. Gabonia and Zipping Laura collided soon after the start. Gabonia, Zipping Laura and Maris Gold collided approaching the first turn. Zipping Morgan, Gabonia and Zipping Laura collided approaching the first turn checking Zipping Laura and severely checking Gabonia. Lektra Bandit and Black Jaymar collided on the first turn. Zipping Morgan and Zipping Laura collided approaching the second turn. Zipping Morgan checked off Black Jaymar on the second turn. Lektra Bandit checked off Maris Gold on the third turn. Maris Gold and Black Jaymar collided on the home turn checking Maris Gold and Dark Obsession. Gabonia and Zipping Laura collided in the home straight. Dark Obsession crossed to the rail in the home straight and collided with Black Jaymar, checking both greyhounds.
