A pre-race sample was taken from Samsara Lass.
Zelemar Doll was a late scratching at 9.39pm on the advice of the Club's Veterinary Surgeon due to being on season. A 28 day stand down period was imposed.
Galloping Hope and Fairy Tiger collided soon after the start. One Step Beyond and Summer Wages collided approaching the first turn. One Step Beyond was checked off Summer Wages on the first turn. Fairy Tiger was checked off Maximum Shera approaching the home turn. One Step Beyond was checked off Soda Anne on the home turn.
One Step Beyond was vetted following the event. It was reported that there was no injury apparent.
