Corgi Cry and Dashing Rhonda were quick to begin.  Dundas Bomber, Finchy, Miss Icy Fantasy and Girl In Flight collided on the first turn checking Dundas Bomber, Finchy, Miss Icy Fantasy and Chasing Amy. Dashing Rhonda and Elusive Force collided approaching the home turn checking Dashing Rhonda.  Girl In Flight and Elusive Force collided on the home turn.  Miss Icy Fantasy and Elusive Force collided approaching the winning post.

Dashing Rhonda was vetted following the event.  It was reported that the greyhound sustained a spike wound to the right front foot, no stand down period was imposed.

Wendy Duve, Handler of Veetee Princess redelcared a new weight of 25.7kg for the greyhound in accordance with GAR 39(2).  Veetee Princess last raced at 27.0kg.

Shane Dervish, Trainer of Booboo Beau redelcared a new weight of 30.3kg for the greyhound in accordance with GAR 39(2).  Booboo Beau last raced at 29.0kg.

Lil Stella was quick to begin.  Roman Boy and Explosive Sky collided on the first turn checking Explosive Sky.  Grand Bomber and Paris Roubaix collided approaching the home turn.  Grand Bomber raced wide on the home turn.  Explosive Sky was held up for a run entering the home straight.  Paris Roubaix and Lil Stella collided in the home straight and again approaching the winning post.

Grand Bomber was vetted following the event.  It was reported that there was no apparent injury found.

Elite Sprite was slow to begin.  Marble Hill and Flying Opal collided soon after the start.  Tat Molly, Flying Opal and Blonde Man collided on the first turn checking Blonde Man and Flying Opal.

Patrick Ryan, Trainer of Adara Lad redelcared a new weight of 31.3kg for the greyhound in accordance with GAR 39(2). Adara Lad last raced at 29.4kg.

The start of this race was delayed by approximately 90 seconds due to a gallops event running late. 

Silent Fletch was quick to begin.  Adara Lad and Thunderous Night collided soon after the start.  Omamori, Winter Time, Nuggy Burger and Hotlips Matilda collided soon after the start checking Winter Time and Nuggy Burger.  Omamori checked off Karaoke Ken on the first turn checking Winter Time, Nuggy Burger and Hotlips Matilda.  Nuggy Burger checked off Omamori on the home turn.  Winter Time checked off Hotlips Matilda on the home turn.

She Can't Run was quick to begin.  Tat Bazza was slow to begin.  Super Dot and Tungawonga collided soon after the start.  Go Go Zarbo and Fancy Agro collided approaching the first turn.  Tungawonga checked off She Can't Run on the first turn.  Go Go Zarbo and Fancy Agro collided on the first turn checking Fancy Agro, Tat Bazza and Son Of Sassi.  Fancy Agro and Son Of Sassi collided on the home turn.

Michelle Groom, Handler of Fear Her redelcared a new weight of 29.1kg for the greyhound in accordance with GAR 39(2).  Fear Her last raced at 30.3kg.

All Inn Menphis was quick to begin.  Zipping Noel and Buster's Magic collided soon after the start.  Buster's Magic crossed to the rail on the first turn checking Zipping Noel.

Pentapod was vetted following the event.  It was reported that there was no apparent injury found.

Senor Ozzie was slow to begin.  Cruisy's Gift went up with the lids at box rise and was slow to begin.  Duck Hole Flyer crossed to the rail soon after the start checking Cosmic Madness and All Inn Africa.  Cosmic Madness and All Inn Africa collided approaching the first turn.  Duck Hole Flyer checked off Good Luck Punk approaching the home turn.  All Inn Africa checked off Duck Hole Flyer on the home turn.

King Spotalot was quick to begin.  Keyser Soze was slow to begin.  Derby Ghost checked off Central Road on the first turn checking Keyser Soze.  In This Way and Boston George collided on the first turn.  In This Way galloped on the heels of King Spotalot in the home straight.

Stewards spoke to Mr S.Stefanos, Trainer of Zuris Majic with regard to the length of time the greyhound has had between racing. Zurís Majic last raced on 7 November 2014. Mr Stefanos stated that Zuris Magic is returning to racing after suffering a shoulder injury. Stewards noted Mr Stefanos's comments.

Stewards spoke to Mr G.Howarth, Trainer of Molly's Pledge with regard to the length of time the greyhound has had between racing. Molly's Pledge last raced on 21 September 2014. Mr Howarth stated that Molly's Pledge is returning to racing after suffering a monkey muscle injury and then came on season. Stewards noted Mr Howarth's comments.

Molly's Pledge, Knock Her Down and Don Fire were slow to begin.  Jimmy Marlow faltered on the first turn and collided with Zuri's Magic as a result.  Cosmic Pilot galloped on the heels of Vee Bee Elle on the first turn checking Vee Bee Elle, Molly's Pledge and Cosmic Pilot.  Molly's Pledge raced wide on the home turn checking Zuri's Magic.  Don Fire and Molly's Pledge raced wide in the home straight.

Jimmy Marlow was vetted following the event.  It was reported that the greyhound sustained soreness to the left hip, a 5 day stand down period was imposed.  Acting under GAR 69(B)(1), Stewards charged Jimmy Marlow with failing to pursue the lure with due commitment (by reason of injury).  Trainer, Mr H. Hunter, pleaded guilty to the charge.  Jimmy Marlow was found guilty and Stewards directed that the greyhound perform a Satisfactory Trial, All Tracks, pursuant to GAR 69(B)(1)(a), before any future nomination will be accepted.

The semaphore board malfunctioned during this event and subsequently the race was hand timed.

Elite Gladiator and Ninja Kong collided soon after the start.  Hecan Bolt and Stylish Chips collided soon after the start.  Maudie Magic and Ninja Kong collided approaching the first turn checking Ninja Kong.  Ninja Kong checked off Stylish Chips on the first turn.  Just Push On, Elite Gladiator and Ninja Kong collided on the first turn checking Elite Gladiator.  Elite Gladiator checked off Ninja Kong approaching the home turn.  Coopnarcha and Hecan Bolt collided approaching the home turn.  Valletta Knight galloped on the heels of Hecan Bolt on the home turn checking Valletta Knight, Hecan Bolt and Stylish Chips.

Super Tart was quick to begin.  Ima Warrior stumbled at box rise and was slow to begin.  Classy Tulip was slow to begin.  Super Tart faltered approaching the first turn.  Super Tart, Windy Reg and Cullquin Jake collided on the first turn checking all three greyhounds.

Super Tart was vetted following the event.  It was reported that the greyhound sustained an injury to the left back muscle, a 28 day stand down period was imposed.

Cullquin Jake was vetted following the event.  It was reported that there was no apparent injury found.

Brenda Kinder, Trainer of Cosmic Gene redelcared a new weight of 27.8kg for the greyhound in accordance with GAR 39(2).  Cosmic Gene last raced at 26.3kg.

Elite Tulip was slow to begin.  Feel The Love and Roadie collided soon after the start checking Roadie.  Cosmic Gene, Feel The Love and Don's Legend collided approaching the first turn checking Don's Legend.  Elite Tulip, All Inn Dora, Jemlee and Don's Legend collided on the first turn checking All Inn Dora, Jemlee and Don's Legend.

All Inn Dora was vetted following the event.  It was reported that the greyhound sustained split webbing to the left hind, a 14 day stand down period was imposed.

Don's Legend was vetted following the event.  It was reported that the greyhound sustained grazes to the left eye, no stand down period was imposed.

Meeting Comments:

Senorita Amy trialled over the 390m from Box 1, weight 28.1kg, the greyhound was placed 4th in a field of 5.  The time of the trial was 22.39, the greyhound was beaten by a margin of 12 lengths. Senorita Amy was cleared.

Cheeky Spencer trialled over the 390m from Box 3, weight 32.5kg, the greyhound was placed 3rd in a field of 5.  The time of the trial was 22.39, the greyhound was beaten by a margin of 11.50 lengths.  Cheeky Spencer was cleared.

Alfie trialled over the 390m from Box 5, weight 30.3kg, the greyhound was placed 2nd in a field of 5.  The time of the trial was 22.39, the greyhound was beaten by a margin of 7 lengths.  Alfie was cleared.

Boundas Storm trialled over the 390m from Box 7, weight 33.8kg, the greyhound was placed 5th in a field of 5.  The time of the trial was 22.39, the greyhound was beaten by a margin of 18 lengths.  Boudas Storm was not cleared.

Burrawonga Jimbo trialled over the 450m from Box 1, weight 31.7kg, the greyhound was placed 4th in a field of 4.  The time of the trial was 25.32, the greyhound was beaten by a margin of 11.50 lengths.  Burrawonga Jimbo was cleared.

Proper Bluey trialled over the 450m from Box 8, weight 33.9kg, the greyhound was placed 2nd in a field of 4.  The time of the trial was 25.32, the greyhound was beaten by a margin of 5.25 lengths.  Proper Blue was cleared.
