A pre-race sample was taken from Nukstar. 

Nukstar went up with the lids at box rise and was slow to begin. Magpie Power was slow to begin. Trigger Lee and Slick Diamond collided approaching the first turn. Slick Diamond and Amari collided approaching the home turn. Trigger Lee and Slick Diamond collided in the home straight. 

A car park sample was taken from Destructacon Upon arrival at the course.

Lil' Miss Banjo and Urana Laurie collided soon after the start, checking Urana Laurie. Dashing Diamond and Major Blast collided approaching the first turn, checking Major Blast. Urana Laurie and Major Blast collided on the first turn, checking Major Blast. 

A sample was taken from Lil' Miss Banjo - the winner of the event. 

Stewards spoke to Mr N. Carthew, Handler of the greyhound Alouette Josie which had not raced since 27 May 2016. Mr Carthew stated that the greyhound was new to the kennel.

The Club Veterinary Surgeon examined Ultra Bear and no illness was detected. The greyhound was a late scratching at 8.22am due to weight variation (GAR 39). A 10 day stand down period was imposed. Trainer A. Daisleywas fined the sum of $100.

Garku Bale was quick to begin. Anustar and Amy Schraff collided soon after the start. Anustar and Amy Schraff collided several times approaching the first turn. Amy Schraff, Garku Bale and Anustar collided on the first turn. Amy Schraff and Anustar collided on the first turn, checking Amy Schraff. Amy Schraff contacted the running rail approaching the home turn. 

A pre-race sample was taken from My Mate Horse.

My Mate Horse and Tiger Rossa collided soon after the start, checking both greyhounds. My Mate Horse and Tiger Rossa collided several times approaching the first turn, severely checking My Mate Horse. 

A sample was taken from My Girl Belena - the winner of the event. 

A pre-race sample upon arrival at the course, prior to kennelling, was unable to be obtained from Joraddi, a post race sample was subsequently taken. 

Latigo and Joraddi were slow to begin. Kalani Jac and Pitch collided soon after the start. Kalani Jac, Pitch and Miss Juddy collided approaching the first turn. Kalani Jac and Pitch collided approaching the first turn, checking Pitch. Aston Upton and Miss Juddy collided approaching the first turn and on the first turn, checking both greyhounds. Joraddi raced wide in the home straight. 

A sample was taken from Aston Upton - placed 2nd in the event. 

Aston Upton was vetted following the event, it was reported that the greyhound sustained an injury to the right back muscle, a ten day stand down period was imposed. 

Barra Johnson was quick to begin. Weasley Grange galloped on the heels of Barra Johnson approaching the home turn. Mindset and Inclusive collided approaching the home turn, checking Inclusive and severely checking Mindset. 

A pre-race sample was taken from Superior Jethro upon arrival at the course, prior to kennelling.

Superior Jethro and Bella Yella were slow to begin. Bernmar Rockstar and Shona's Butter collided approaching the first turn, checking Bernmar Rockstar. Superior Jethro and Bernmar Rockstar collided on the first turn, checking Bernmar Rockstar. Superior Jethro and Bella Yella collided approaching the home turn. Bella Yella checked off Superior Jethro in the home straight. 

The start of this event was delayed several minutes due to an electriacal fault at the boxes which was detected after the greyhounds had been boxed, but prior to the start of the event. As a result all greyhounds were removed from the boxes, examined by the veterinary surgeon and all runners were passed fit to take their place in the event.

Stewards spoke to Mr R. Gilliland, trainer of the greyhound Windsor Reign and reminded him of his responsibilities in regards to the dress code.

Ellie's Blue and Josie Jo collided soon after the start. Kalita raced wide on the home turn and in the home straight. 

Windsor Reign was vetted following the event. It was reported that the greyhound sustained a laceration to the tail, a seven day stand down period was imposed. 

Come To Play and Yad Mai collided soon after the start. Yad Mai and Alyssa's Girl collided on approaching the home turn and on the home turn, checking Alyssa's Girl. Yad Mai raced wide on the home turn. 

Scotta Be Quick and Sally's Treasure were quick to begin. Windsor Storm and Talzanna were slow to begin. Sally's Treasure crossed wide approaching the first turn, checking Glama Jewel and Talzanna. Windsor Storm contacted the running rail on the first turn. Scotta Be Quick and Talzanna collided approaching the home turn, checking Scotta Be Quick and Glama Jewel. 

El Shi Ra was a late scratching at 6.45am due to injury (GAR 23).  A 10 day stand down period was imposed. Stewards will require a veterinary certificate before any future nomination will be accepted. 

Nitroniun and Scarlet Blu Boy were slow to begin. Nitroniun crossed to the rail soon after the start. Flicker, This Is Nice and Just Like Fire collided approaching the first turn, checking Flicker and This Is Nice. Flicker checked off Scarlet Blu Boy approaching the home turn. Scarlet Blu Boy checked off This Is Nice approaching the home turn. Flicker raced wide in the home straight. 

El Shi Grand was a late scratching at 6.43am due to injury (GAR 23).  A 10 day stand down period was imposed. Stewards will require a veterinary certificate before any future nomination will be accepted. 

Golden Malt was quick to begin. Ral Ral was slow to begin. Ral Ral and Yuken Duet collided soon after the start.
