Cosmic Wish, Taxi Jack, Gidgee's Boss and Outa Manila collided approaching the first turn checking Gidgee's Boss. Taxi Jack and Cosmic Wish collided on the first turn checking Cosmic Wish. Gidgee's Boss and Proven Les collided entering the home straight. Proven les and Outa Manila collided in the home straight and again approaching the winning post.

Taxi Jack was vetted and re-vetted following event 3. It was reported that the greyhound sustained an abrasion to the right hind foot and an injury to the right hind sesamoid. A stand down period of 14 days was imposed.

Stewards spoke to Mr. B Groom, lure driver and reminded him of his responsibilities regarding the position of the lure on the first turn pursuant to GAR 55(1). 

Brodie John and Petite Senorita were quick to begin. Cosmic Josie was slow to begin. Kraken Mazing, Brodie John and Petite Senorita collided on the first turn checking Brodie John. Gunai Gossip galloped on Kraken Mazing on the first turn checking Gunai Gossip. Kraken Mazing and Petite Senorita collided on the home turn checking Petite Senorita and Brodie John. Forever Rose checked off Cosmic Josie in the home straight.

A pre race sample was taken from Buckle In. Eumeralla Donny was slow to begin. Collect, Sunday Sipper and Midnight Outlaw collided soon after the start. Duck Hole Flyer, Eumeralla Donny, Sunday Sipper and Midnight Outlaw collided on the first turn checking Eumeralla Donny and severely checking Duck Hole Flyer which contacted the running rail. Collect and Athos collided on the first turn. Eumeralla Donny and Buckle In collided entering the home straight. Sunday Sipper and Midnight Ride collided in the home straight.

Duck Hole Flyer was vetted following the event. It was reported that there was no apparent injury found.

Dunbro Fergus went up with the lids at box rise. Wicked Explosion, Cullquin Rocky and Robbie's Entity collided soon after the start checking Robbie's Entity. Cullquin Rocky checked off Wicked Explosion approaching the first turn. Major bill and Bomber Lane collided approaching the first turn. Wicked Explosion, Shifty Lilly and Cullquin Rocky collided on the first turn checking Cullquin Rocky. Wicked Explosion and Robbie's Entity collided entering the home straight. Robbie's Entity and Shifty Lilly  raced wide in the home straight.

Cullquin Rocky was vetted following the event. It was reported that the greyhound sustained an abrasion to the forehead and a spike wound to the right hind foot. No stand down was applied.

Mrs. Huang was a late scratching at 14:21 due to the greyhound being on season (GAR 24). A 28 day stand down period was imposed.

Stewards spoke to Ms. R. Groom, the handler of Go Good Riddance regarding the length of time the greyhound has had between races.  Go Good Riddance last raced on 21/05/2016. Mr. Groom stated that the greyhound was returning from a spell.

Stewards spoke to Mr. A. Hyde, the handler of Who Told Lindylu regarding the length of time the greyhound has had between races.  Who Told Lindylu last raced on 15/05/2016. Mr. Hyde stated that the greyhound was returning from a left wrist injury.

Sisco Pure and Schooner were slow to begin. Zahra bella, Who Told Lindylu, Sisco pure, Wet And Wild, My Name's Emma and Schooner collided on the first turn checking Who Told Lindylu, Sisco Pure and My Name's Emma and severly checking Schooner. Sisco Pure checked off My Name's Emma approaching the home turn. Wet And Wild checked off Go Good Riddance on the home turn.

Schooner was vetted following the event. It was reported that ther was no apparent injury found.
