Steward's Report

Mr. B. Klemke was fined the sum of $50 for failing to ensure the registration card was produced for the greyhound Cosmic Wish pursuant to GAR 33.

Pursuant to GAR 104 (6) Judge Ms. K. McGrath did not act in any official capacity for this event.

Kraken Suzie was quick to begin. Proven Les was slow to begin and stumbled soon after the start. Cosmic Wish, Taxi Jack, Gidgee's Boss and Outa Manila collided approaching the first turn checking Gidgee's Boss. Taxi Jack and Cosmic Wish collided on the first turn checking Cosmic Wish. Gidgee's Boss and Proven Les collided entering the home straight. Proven les and Outa Manila collided in the home straight and again approaching the winning post.

Taxi Jack was vetted and re-vetted following event 3. It was reported that the greyhound sustained an abrasion to the right hind foot and an injury to the right hind sesamoid. A stand down period of 14 days was imposed.

Stewards spoke to Mr. B Groom, lure driver and reminded him of his responsibilities regarding the position of the lure on the first turn pursuant to GAR 55(1).
