Steward's Report
Du Plessis was a late scratching at 11:19am on the advice of the Club’s Veterinary Surgeon due to a right Quadricep injury. A 5 day stand down period was imposed.
A pre race sample was taken from Bab's On Parole.
Hurricane Aussie, Ego Yar, Bab's On Parole and Corless collided soon after the start. Hurricane Aussie checked off Corless at the 300m mark. Corless, Vista Kwazi and Blackjack's Back collided approaching the 200m mark, checking Corless and Vista Kwazi. Corless and Vista Kwazi collided approaching the 150m mark. Hurricane Aussie and Corless collided at the 100m mark.
A sample was taken from Blackjack's Back - the winner of the event.
Satisfactory Weight Trial Results - Cat Zingano trialled over the 300m from box four, weight 32.1kg, the greyhound was placed second in a field of two. The time of the trial was 16.91, the greyhound was beaten by a margin of 3.5 lengths. Cat Zingano was Cleared.
