Steward's Report
A pre-race sample was taken from Joe Mama.
Joe Mama and Broulee Miss were slow to begin. Hit The Highway and Alpha Triton collided soon after the start. Joe Mama and Villa Jemma collided soon after the start. Alpha Triton checked off Hit The Highway approaching the first turn. Black Fields crossed to the rails approaching the first turn checking Alpha Lucky. Alpha Triton clipped the heels of Joe Mama on the first turn causing Joe Mama to contact the running rail. Villa Jemma checked off Broulee Miss on the first turn. Black Fields and Broulee Miss collided several times on the first turn, approaching the second turn and on the second turn checking Black Fields and Alpha Triton. Broulee Miss checked off Alpha Triton on the third turn.
Black Fields was vetted following the event. It was reported that there was no apparent injury found.
Stewards issued a warning to Ms. T. Collins, the handler of Black Fields regarding the greyhound's racing manners on the first turn.
