A pre-race sample was taken from Matt Machine upon arrival at the course, prior to kennelling.
Fizzy Bale was quick to begin and crossed to the rail soon after the start checking Matt Machine, Alera Bale, Mark's Boy and Radio Silent. What Planet, Cousin Cosmo and Wise Maple collided soon after the start. Alera Bale, Mark's Boy and Radio Silent collided on the first turn checking Mark's Boy. Matt Machine, Wise Maple and Alera Bale collided on the second turn checking Alera Bale and Cousin Cosmo.
