The Club Veterinary Surgeon examined Brazen Escape and no illness was detected. The greyhound was a late scratching at 6:31pm due to weight variation (GAR 39). A 10 day stand down period was imposed. Trainer Ms. T. Womann was fined the sum of $100.
Herbilly and Lektra Utah collided soon after the start, checking both greyhounds. Herbilly checked off Infinite Senor on the first turn. Turbo Chief, Lektra Utah and Certified collided on the home turn. Lektra Utah and Certified collided entering the home straight, checking both greyhounds. Lektra Utah and Certified collided approaching the winning post.
