Joffa's Old Girl and Lani Bale were quick to begin.  My Mate Fab was slow to begin.  My Mate Fab and Mary's Entity collided on the first turn checking both greyhounds and causing both greyhounds to race wide.  Brolly Bale and Lani Bale collided on the second turn.  My Mate Fab checked off Mary's Entity in the back straight.  Joffa's Old Girl and Lani Bale collided approaching the winning post checking Lani Bale.

Mary's Entity was vetted following the event.  It was reported that the greyhound sustained an injury to its right triangle muscle.  A 5 day stand down period was imposed.

Cosmic Kilby was vetted following the event and after being re-vetted following event 8, it was reported that the greyhound sustained injuries to its right pencil muscle and right triangle muscle.  A 5 day stand down period was imposed.

Lazza Mikado was vetted following the event.  It was reported that the greyhound sustained an injury to its right back muscle.  A 28 day stand down period was imposed.

Shimatron was slow to begin.  Myrniong Socks, Dyna Maddie, Fizzy Bale and Wise Maple collided soon after the start.  Skate Thin Ice, Become The Fuse and Wise Maple collided on the first turn checking Skate Thin Ice.  Skate Thin Ice, Myrniong Socks, Dyna Maddie and Fizzy Bale collided on the second turn.  Skate Thin Ice and Myrniong Socks collided on the third turn.

Stewards spoke to Mr. D. Fisher, the handler of the greyhound Myrniong Socks regarding his failure to appear at the kennelss by the appointed time to retrieve the greyhound for racing.  

Stewards charged Mr. Fisher with a breach of GAR 46(2) in that he failed to appear at the kennels by the appointed time to retrieve the greyhound Myrniong Socks.  Mr. Fisher pleaded guilty to the charge.  Stewards found Mr. Fisher guilty and fined him the sum of $150.00
