Stewards spoke to G. Condon, the trainer of Dusty Leads regarding the length of time the greyhound has had between races. Dusty Leads last raced on 24 February 2016 and is returning after a change of kennels.

It's Burger Time was slow to begin. Shakey Jet and Sultan's Boy collided approaching the first turn. Sultan's Boy, Little Mischa and Regal Hussler collided approaching the first turn, checking Little Mischa. Shakey Jet checked off Flick The Jug approaching the home turn and raced wide, severely checking Regal Hussler. Little Mischa and It's Burger Time collided on the home turn.

Stewards spoke to K. Minnie, the Trainer of Can't Believe It regarding the length of time the greyhound has had between races. Can't Believe It last raced on 11 April 2016 and is returning after a left scapula injury.

G. Carr, representative of Foxy Fern declared a new weight of 25.8 for the greyhound in accordance with GAR 39(2). Foxy Fern last raced at 27.0.

A pre-race sample was taken from Azza. 

Azza, Zulu Zoe, Foxy Fern and Dee Tee Vane were quick to begin. Dr. Watson and Can't Believe It were slow to begin. Zulu Zoe and Foxy Fern collided on the first turn, checking Foxy Fern, Lucky's Spirit and Can't Believe It. Dee Tee Vane crossed to the rail on the first turn. Foxy Fern and Lucky's Spirit raced wide approaching the home turn.

Wild Angel and Hawks Three Peat were slow to begin. Hawks Three Peat and Laytown collided approaching the first turn. Aaron Soda, Rockin' Roller and Little Written collided on the first turn, checking Rockin' Roller and Little Written. Tayla Nicole and Wild Angel collided on the first turn. Little Written clipped the heels of Rockin' Roller in the back straight. Little Written checked off Rockin' Roller on the second turn.

Miss Spence was quick to begin. Kobe's Hand and Aston Lydia collided soon after the start. Kobe's Hand crossed to the outside in the back straight, checking Bar The Bullet. Golden Hand and Lloyd Street collided on the first turn. Bar the Bullet and Iona Machine collided approaching the home turn. 

Stewards noted that the muzzle of Golden Hand became dislodged during the event.

Collinda Warrior, Corroboree and Oakmont Whisper were slow to begin. Oakmont Whisper checked off Johnny Scull approaching the first turn. Johnny Scull and Mates Blue collided on the first turn. Oakmont Whisper clipped the heels of Collinda Warrior on the third turn. Nifty Neville and Oakmont Whisper collided on the home turn.

Stewards spoke to S. Bye, the trainer of Flywheel Sprite regarding the length of time the greyhound has had between races. Flywheel Sprite last raced on 2 May 2016 and is returning after a right hind webbing injury.

Daintree Rhumba and Rose Of Dyanna were slow to begin. Simply Mystic and Max Roxy collided soon after the start, checking Daintree Rhumba. Simply Mystic and Barroom Express collided on the first turn, checking Barroom Express. Simply Mystic checked off Rose Of Dyanna on the second turn.

Stewards spoke to A. Spiteri, the trainer of Regal Bulldog regarding the length of time the greyhound has had between races. Regal Bulldog last raced on 10 May 2016 and is returning after a spell.

A pre-race sample was taken from Dynamite Dex. 

Crusader, Let's Go Billy and Hurricane Craig were slow to begin. Crusader and Let's Go Billy collided soon after the start. Dynamite Dex, Crusader and Let's Go Billy collided in the back straight. Let's Go Billy checked off Regal Bulldog approaching the first turn. Let's Go Billy checked off Dynamite Dex in the home straight. Dynamite Dex and Let's Go billy collided in the home straight. 

Dynamite Dex was vetted following the event. It was reported that there was no apparent injury found.

Dr. Double Malt and It's Debatable were quick to begin. Soda Blast was slow to begin. Soda Blast and Say Nothing collided soon after the start. To Dee Rhythm and Shezza's Nitro collided approaching the first turn. Shezza's Nitro checked off Say Nothing on the first turn. Hurricane Aussie and Sunset Senorita collided in the back straight. Sunset Senorita and Say Nothing collided in the back straight. 

Yorgi Road and Bandit Brad were slow to begin. Lauren Kasey and Bazz Kebab collided soon after the start. Yorgi Road clipped the heels of Anita's Girl approaching the first turn. Anita's Girl and Diamond's Sing collided on the first turn. 

Lauren Kasey was vetted following the event. It was reported that the greyhound sustained abrasions to the right hind toe, no stand down penalty was imposed.

Meeting Comments:

Satisfactory Trial Results - Fawn Mantra trialled over the 395 metres from box 1, weight 32.6, the greyhound was placed 2nd in a field of four. The time of the trial was 22.56, the greyhound was beaten by a margin of 3.75 lengths. Fawn Mantra was Cleared. 

Sidute trialled over the 395 metres from box 3, weight 27.7, the greyhound was placed 3rd in a field of four. The time of the trial was 22.56, the greyhound was beaten by a margin of 6.25 lengths. Sidute was Cleared. 

Surfin' Caity trialled over the 395 metres from box 7, weight 23.5, the greyhound was placed 4th in a field of four. The time of the trial was 22.56, the greyhound was beaten by a margin of 14.25 lengths. Surfin' Caity was Cleared. 

Hello Tamara trialled over the 395 metres from box 8, weight 31.5, the greyhound was placed 1st in a field of four. The time of the trial was 22.56, the greyhound won by a margin of 3.75 lengths. Hello Tamara was Cleared.
