Dyna Gypsy was vetted following the event.  It was reported that the greyhound sustained a fractured right hock.  A 60 day stand down period was imposed.

Destini Scorcher was vetted following the event.  It was reported that the greyhound sustained an injury to its left monkey muscle.  A 5 day stand down period was imposed.

Stewards spoke to Mr. M. Taylor, the representative of the greyhound Destini Scorcher regarding the greyhound's racing manners in the home straight.  Acting under GAR 69(1) stewards charged Destini Scorcher with marring.  Mr. Taylor pleaded guilty to the charge.  Destini Scorcher was found guilty and was suspended for 28 days at The Meadows and it was directed that the greyhound perform a Satisfactory Trial (all tracks), pursuant to GAR 69(2)(a) before any future nomination will be accepted.
