Cobber's Outlaw was very slow to begin (3 lengths). Looking Back and Thomas Vella collided at the 150 metre mark. Looking Back galloped on the heels of Thomas Vella at the 100 metre mark. Windy Woof and Thomas Vella collided at the 100 metre mark checking both greyhounds. Windy Woof and Thomas Vella collided approaching the winning post.
Cobber's Outlaw was vetted following the event. It was reported that the greyhound sustained injuries to its right calf and saddle. A 7 day stand down period was imposed.
