Sea Dreams, Pedal To Metal and Roll 'Em High were slow to begin. Simply Maybe crossed to the outside at the 250 metre mark checking Pedal To Metal, Roll 'Em High and Bobby Cash. Sea Dreams and Bobby Cash collided at the 100 metre mark. Sea Dreams checked off Bobby Cash approaching the winning post.
Stewards spoke to Ms. N. Tapp, the handler of the greyhound Sea Dreams and issued her with a warning regarding her failure to appear at the kennels by the appointed time to retrieve the greyhound for racing, pursuant to GAR 46(2).
