The start of this event was delayed by approximately 4 minutes due to a delay in the parading of the greyhounds.
Dr. Peter was slow to begin. Rennicane, Boxhead and Super Leggera collided soon after the start checking Boxhead. Super Leggera and Punk Pirate collided approaching the firts turn severely checking Dr. Peter, Super Leggera and Boxhead. Punk Pirate and Hawka Tron collided on the first turn severely checking Punk Pirate. Super Leggera raced wide on the home turn. Hawka Tron checked off Rennicane in the home straight.
Boxhead was vetted following the event. It was reported that there was no apparent injury found.
