Son Of Sassi and Coursing Bale were slow to begin. Coursing Bale checked off Ravager Bale soon after the start. Buckle In crossed to the rail approaching the first turn checking Son Of Sassi, Zelemar Zest and Locked Out. Zelemar Zest checked off Ravager Bale approaching the first turn checking Son Of Sassi. Locked Out and Zelemar Zest collided approaching the home turn. Zelemar Zest and Son Of Sassi collided on the home turn.

Coursing Bale was vetted following the event. It was reported that the greyhound sustained an injury to the right dew claw. A stand down period of 10 days was imposed.

Tobias Kelton was slow to begin. All Courage, Oscar De Snowman and Cosmic Elle collided soon after the start checking All Courage. All Courage faltered on the first turn and tailed off as a result. Tobias Kelton and Tybellene collided approaching the second turn severely checking Tobias Kelton. Tobias Kelton and Cosmic Elle collided approaching the home turn checking Cosmic Elle. Avatar Becker and Oscar De Snowman collided on the home turn.

All Courage was vetted following the event. It was reported that the greyhound sustained a tear to the left back muscle. A stand down period of 28 days was imposed.

Southwood King and Governor Bale were slow to begin. Alpha Zeus and Tywin Bale collided on the first turn severely checking Alpha Zeus and Governor Bale. Alpha Zeus raced wide on the home turn.

Alpha Zeus was vetted following the event. It was reported that the greyhound sustained soreness in the left back muscle. A stand down period of 5 days was imposed.

Governor Bale was vetted following the event. It was reported that there was no apparent injury found.

Subsequent to this event, Stewards spoke to Mr. W. McMahon and reminded him of his responsibility in relation to GAR 44 - Mobile Phone. 

Dot Com Diesel and Southwood Denis were slow to begin. Bruce Tycoon, Mendes and Hunter Rocks collided soon after the start checking Bruce Tycoon. Dot Com Diesel and Southwood Denis collided on the first turn checking Dot Com Diesel. Bruce Tycoon and Punk Panther collided approaching the second turn checking Bruce Tycoon. Southwood Denis, Lektra Khan and Hunter Rocks collided approaching the home turn checking Hunter Rocks and Lektra Khan. Hunter Rocks raced wide home turn. Mendes checked off Skyfire in the home straight.

Hunter Rocks was vetted following the event. It was reported that the greyhound sustained soreness in the right quad muscle and left back muscle. A stand down period of 5 days was imposed.

Boloney Club was slow to begin. Select Daniel and Ring The Bell collided soon after the start checking Ring The Bell. Zachie Dude and Dr. Shiki collided approaching the first turn checking Dr. Shiki, severely checking Miss Capone which checked Boloney Club and Ring The Bell as a result. Zachie Dude checked off Argenta on the first turn. Boloney Club checked off Ring The Bell approaching the home turn.

Miss Capone was vetted following the event. It was reported that there was no apparent injury found.

Beyond Rapid, Elbow Room and Vermont collided approaching the first turn checking Elbow Room. Vermont and Cut Loose Max collided approaching the home turn. Exit Zero checked off Cut Loose Max approaching the home turn. Zelemar Storm checked off Exit Zero on the home turn. Vermont and Cut Loose Max collided in the home straight.

Zelemar Storm was vetted following the event. It was reported that the greyhound sustained a left calf muscle tear. A stand down period of 7 days was imposed.

Mo Town San checked off Magic Earner in the back straight. Jamiela Twist and Esparza collided on the third turn checking Jamiela Twist and Magic Earner. Jamiela Twist and Ninety Five collided entering the back straight checking Ninety Five. Jamiela Twist checked off Magic Earner in the home straight. Mo Town San, Ninety Five and Magic Earner collided in the home straight checking Ninety Five and Magic Earner.

The start of this event was delayed by approximately 4 minutes due to a delay in the parading of the greyhounds.

Dr. Peter was slow to begin. Rennicane, Boxhead and Super Leggera collided soon after the start checking Boxhead. Super Leggera and Punk Pirate collided approaching the firts turn severely checking Dr. Peter, Super Leggera and Boxhead. Punk Pirate and Hawka Tron collided on the first turn severely checking Punk Pirate. Super Leggera raced wide on the home turn. Hawka Tron checked off Rennicane in the home straight.

Boxhead was vetted following the event. It was reported that there was no apparent injury found.

Margins was slow to begin. Me Name's Nelson, Lollie Livewire and Weather Whatever collided soon after the start checking Lollie Livewire. Avatar Girl, Weather Whatever and Ultima Bale collided on the first turn checking Weather Whatever and Avatar Girl. Margins, Weather Whatever and Avatar Girl collided on the second turn severely checking Avatar Girl and Weather Whatever.

Dr. Brandon and Pretty Bomb were slow to begin. Gandolf Bale, Dr. Brandon and Moonlight Lace collided soon after the start checking Dr. Brandon. Pretty Bomb and Gandolf Bale collided on the first turn checking Gandolf Bale. Flying Hannah checked off Moonlight Lace on the first turn. Paw Favor checked off Pretty Bomb entering the back straight. Flying Hannah checked off Dr. Brandon in the back straight. Paw Favor and Moonlight Lace collided in the back straight. Paw Favor raced wide on the home turn.

Stewards spoke to the trainer of Hanify's Jaxon, W. McMahon, regarding the length of time since the greyhound last raced (8th February 2015).  Mr. McMahon stated that the greyhound is returning from injury (chipped hock). 

Blue Rocket was slow to begin. Fancy Assassin crossed to the rail soon after the start checking Glass Roof, Draper Bale and Hanify's Jaxon. Super Patricia checked off Blue Rocket approaching the first turn. Hanify's Jaxon checked off Fancy Assassin approaching the first turn. Super Patricia checked off Graff Bale in the home straight. Hanify's Jaxon checked off Glass Roof in the home straight.
