Steward's Report
M Williams, trainer of Chim Chiminey redeclared a new weight of 28.8kgs for the greyhound in accordance with GAR 39(2). Chim Chiminey last raced at 30.0kgs.
Stewards spoke to J Meyer, trainer of Meyer Fencing, regarding the length of time since the greyhounds last start. J Meyer informed the stewards that the greyhound was returning from injury (hock).
Uvalde was slow to begin. Chim Chiminey and Rusty Gun collided soon after the start. Hermoso and Omega Clover collided soon after the start. Little Leesey and Meyer Fencing collided soon after the start. Uvalde and Little Leesey collided at the 250m mark. Little Leesey checked off Chim Chiminey at the 150m mark.
Meyer Fencing was vetted following the event. It was reported that there was no apparent injury found.
