Steward's Report
Stewards spoke to the Attendant of Gotham's Hero, Mr R. Cunningham, regarding the length of time since the greyhound's last start. Mr Cunningham explained that the trainer of the greyhound (M. Harvey) had purposely spelled the greyhound in order to freshen the greyhound up.
Madam Model, Bandit Brad, Emi's Boy Macca, Gotham's Hero, Scanez Twelve and Dynamite Maybe collided soon after the start, severely checking Bandit Brad and causing Emi's Boy Maccas to fall. Madam Model checked off Final Deception at the 150m mark, checking Dynamite Maybe.
Emi's Boy Macca was vetted following the event. It was reported that the greyhound sustained an injured right triceps, a 14 day stand down period was imposed.
MEETING COMMENTS:
Stewards were advised that the track was lightly harrowed on Thursday 25 June 2015.
