Steward's Report
A pre-race sample was taken from Airbound.
This event started approximately 1 minute late to allow the compression mechanism at the boxes to be tested.
Callum's Mum, Airbound and Darbain Dasher were slow to begin. Classy Boy, Rockabilly King and Airbound collided on the first turn. Classy Boy checked off Airbound on the first turn. Classy Boy and Rickabilly King collided on the second turn and again entering the home straight.
The first split for this event was hand-timed (8.95).
Airbound was vetted following the event. It was reported that the greyhound sustained injuries to its right shoulder, left front sesamoid and right calf. A 10 day stand down period was imposed.
