Steward's Report
Pursuant to GAR 104(7) Steward, Mr G. Truett did not act in any official capacity for this event.
Akina Akeira and Sir Charleton collided soon after the start. Dr. Mortisha checked off Zelemar Storm approaching the first turn. Dr. Mortisha, Just Like Jim, Sir Charleton and Mine Craft collided on the first turn checking Sir Charleton. Just Like Jim and Dr. Mortisha collided approaching the second turn checking Dr. Mortisha. Delta Daisy and Akina Akeira collided entering the home straight and again in the home straight checking Delta Daisy.
Subsequent to the event, Stewards spoke to Mr P. Rowley, the Attendant of the greyhound, Akina Akeira, regarding the apparent improved performance of the greyhound this evening. Mr Rowley stated that whilst the greyhound is usually slow to begin, it tends to rail and finish its races very strongly if able to gain a clear run. Mr Rowley further stated that the greyhound was able to gain a very clear run this evening. Stewards noted Mr Rowley's comments and further directed that a sample be taken from the greyhound Akina Akeira.
