Zelemar Leap and Malted were quick to begin.  Zipping Easey and It's A Blast were slow to begin.  Jordy Paige checked off Zelemar Leap approaching the first turn.  It's A Blast and Malted collided on the first turn, checking Malted and Jordy Paige.  Crymelon Pink clipped the heels of Jordy Pagie on the first turn, severely checking Crymelon Pink, which stumbled and lost considerable ground.  Crymelon Sunrise raced wide approaching the home turn.  Zipping Easey and Jordy Paige collided on the home turn.  It's A Blast raced wide in the home straight.

There was a delay to All Clear to enable Stewards to view the footage of the concluding stages of the event to establish the positioning of the lure. After viewing the video footage and acting on their own observations the All Clear was then semaphored.

Bigbad Fiji and Ever To Be were quick to begin.  Bigbad Fiji and Exit Zero collided soon after the start.  China Rose, Nala's Heart and Seabrook Joel collided soon after the start.  China Rose checked off Exit Zero approaching the first turn, checking Seabrook Joel.  Bigbag Fiji and Ever To Be collided on the first turn, checking Ever To Be, Bigbad Fiji, Nala's Heart and Exit Zero, severely checking Champer Bale, and Opal Bale fell as a result.  China Rose raced wide on the home turn.  Seabrook Joel checked off Nala's Heart on the home turn and raced wide as a result.

Opal Bale was vetted following the event.  It was reported that the greyhound sustained injured thighs, a five day stand down period was imposed.

Nancy's Guess was a late scratching at 8:59AM due to injury (GAR 23).  A 10 day stand down period was imposed. Stewards will require a veterinary certificate before any future nomination will be accepted.
