A pre-race sample was taken from Brylin prior to kennelling upon arrival at the course.
Call Me Gee, Cut Loose Max and Conspiracy were slow to begin.
Vapour Lee and Get Up Dinozzo collided soon after the start, approaching the first turn and again on the first turn. Flywheel Alfie checked off Vapour Lee approaching the second turn checking Photon Jewel. Brylin and Conspiracy collided on the second turn checking Conspiracy. Photon Jewel and Cut Loose Max collided on the second turn. Vapour Lee and Brylin collided entering the back straight checking Brylin. Brylin raced wide in the back straight checking Conspiracy. Call Me Gee and Get Up Dinozzo collided several times approaching the third turn to the home turn checking both greyhounds.
A sample was taken from Vapour Jewel - winner of the event.
Call Me Gee was vetted following the event. It was reported that the greyhound sustained a grazed left calf, no stand down period was imposed.
