Chief Brit was quick to begin. Dana Archie and Kaufman Bale collided soon after the start. Chubba Chops was checked off Rozehill Maisie soon after the start. Harkonen Bale, Kaufman Bale and Rozehill Maisie collided on the first turn severely checking Harkonen Bale. Harkonen Bale, Kaufman Bale and Dana Archie collided approaching the home turn checking all three greyhounds. Louisiana Lil was checked off Sideways Glance approaching the home turn checking Chubba Chops. Chief Brit and Rozehill Maisie collided several times approaching the winning post checking both greyhounds.
Harkonen Bale was vetted following the event. It was reported that there was no injury apparent.
