Ponting's Nail was quick to begin.  Caribbean Magic was slow to begin.  Podium Finish checked off Fursty Ferret approaching the first turn.  Califonia Club and Red Hot Bella collided approaching the first turn, checking Red Hot Bella.  California Club, Caribbean Magic and Fursty Ferret collided on the first turn, checking California Club, Fursty Ferret, Red Hot Bella and Podium Finish.  Podium Finish galloped on the heels of Fursty Ferret approaching the home turn, checking Fursty Ferret and severely checking Podium Finish, which fell as a result.

Podium Finish was vetted following the event.  It was reported that the greyhound sustained an injured right pencil and right hind spike wound, a 7 day stand down period was imposed.

Marvelous Marvin was quick to begin.  Lektra Bandit crossed to the outside approaching the first turn, checking Red Hot Millie and Polijuice Potion.  Lektra Bandit and Emi's Boy Murph collided approaching the first turn, checking Lektra Bandit.  He Gone, All Vapour and Emi's Boy Murph collided approaching the home turn, checking He Gone.  Lektra Bandit and Polijuice Potion collided approaching the home turn, and again entering the home straight.  Emi's Boy Murph and All Vapour collided several times approaching the winning post.

Red Hot Millie was vetted following the event.  It was reported that there was no apparent injury found.

Stewards spoke to S Melville, trainer of the greyhound Emi's Boy Murph regarding the greyhounds racing manners in the home straight.  Emi's Boy Murph was vetted followingn the event.  It was reported that the greyhound sustained an injured left triangle muscle, a 7 day stand down period was imposed.  Acting under GAR69(B)(1), the stewards charged Emi's Boy Murph with failing to pursue the lure with due commitment (by reason of injury).  S Melville pleaded guilty to the charge.  Emi's Boy Murph was found guilty and stewards directed that the greyhound perform a satisfactory trial (all tracks) pursuant to GAR 69(B)(1)(a) before any future nomination will be accepted.

Stewards spoke to catcher Robert Cook and reminded him of his responsibilities regarding the displaying of his license, dress code and to ensure he carried the necessary equipment when catching the greyhound.

Cosby Sweater, Stressful and Hercules Morse were slow to begin.  Forever Vain and Cogitate collided approaching the first turn, checking Forever Vain, Stressful and Hercules Morse.  Logic Lad checked off Zachie Dude approaching the home turn.  Cogitate checked off Logic Lad approaching the home turn and collided with Cosby Sweater, severely checking Cosby Sweater and Cogitate.

Road To Vegas and Rubeus Hagrid were slow to begin.  So Lonely was quick to begin.  Road To Vegas, Aston Tulloch, Rubeus Hagrid and Kay Train collided soon after the start, checking Road To Vegas and Rubeus Hagrid.  Cowboy Love and So Lonely collided several times from the first turn to approaching the home turn.  Cowboy Love and Rubeus Hagrid collided on the home turn and again approaching the winning post.

El Marny was slow to begin.  Bonzo brushed the running rail approaching the first turn.  My Minion and Running Shadow collided on the first turn, and again approaching the home turn.  Running Shadow checked off Apatchy Racer on the home turn and collided with My Minion.  My Minion raced wide in the early part of the home straight.

Dyso Matt was slow to begin.  Fearsome Warrior checked off Mr. Fox soon after the start.  Mr. Fox checked off Shanlyn Violet approaching the first turn.  Fearsome Warrior and Lektra Hawk collided approaching the first turn.  Fearsome Warrior, Lektra Hawk and Dyso Matt collided on the first turn, and again approaching the home turn.

Sir Fire and Fleetwood Flint were quick to begin.  Full Of Boloney was slow to begin.  Midnight Outlaw and Fleetwood Flint collided approaching the first turn, checking Fleetwood Flint.  Fleetwood Flint checked off Sir Fire approaching the first turn, checking Over The Radar.  Full Of Boloney and Fleetwood Flint collided on the first turn, checking Fleetwood Flint.  Sir Fire and Over The Radar collided approaching the home turn, severely checking Over The Radar.  Fleetwood Flint checked off Full Of Boloney on the home turn.  Over The Radar raced wide on the home turn.  Over The Radar faltered on the home turn and tailed off.
