Steward's Report
Oakstar was a late scratching at 3:00pm due to non arrival (GAR 31). A 28 day stand down period was imposed. Trainer, Ms. E. Palma was fined the sum of $100.
This event was delayed by approximately 1 1/2 minutes to hold for a Harness event.
A pre-race sample was taken from Ayden Jackson.
Ayden Jackson was slow to begin. Premier Macs crossed to the outside soon after the start. Ayden Jackson faltered on the first turn and tailed off as a result. Dixie Anne and Annunaki collided on the home turn checking Annunaki, Dixie Anne and Premier Macs. Dixie Anne and Annunaki collided in the home straight.
Ayden Jackson was vetted following the event. It was reported that the greyhound sustained a fractured right hock. The greyhound was humanely euthanised.
