Dyna Elma was a late scratching at 12.56p.m. due to illness (GAR 23). A 10 day stand down period was imposed. Stewards will require a veterinary certificate before any future nomination will be accepted.
A pre-race sample was taken from Jeremiah Jack upon arrival at the course, prior to kennelling.
Lady Lurcher crossed to the rail approaching the first turn, checking Onya Grover, Tink Allen and Dyna Yamba. Jeremiah Jack checked off Dyna Yamba on the first turn, checking Claretown Sam. Jeremiah Jack and Claretown Sam collided several times entering the back straight. Dyna Yamba and Tink Allen collided in the back straight, checking Tink Allen. Onya Grover and Connemara Xav collided several times in the home straight.
