Steward's Report

A pre-race sample was taken from Bells Are Ringin upon arrival at the course, prior to kennelling.

Who Dey was slow to begin.  WHo Dey and Burn One Down collided on the first turn.  Burn One Down checked off Bells Are Ringin on the third turn.  More In Store checked off Ring The Bell entering the back straight.  Who Dey galloped on the heels of Mepunga Rosie on the fifth turn, causing Mepunga Rosie to fall.  Paraphernalia tired over the concluding stages of the race.

Samples were taken from the placegetters of the event - Ring The Bell (1st), Burn One Down (2nd) and More In Store (3rd).

Paraphernalia was vetted following the event.  It was reported that there was no apparent injury found.

Mepunga Rosie was vetted following the event.  It was reported that the greyhound sustained an injured left calf, a 5 day stand down period was imposed.
