Pre-race samples were taken from Greysynd Chief and Staggerlicious upon arrival at the course, prior to kennelling.
Twist Of Thunder, Quantum Bale and Greysynd Chief were slow to begin. Twist Of Thunder and Quantum Bale collided soon after the start. Legend, Twist Of Thunder and Astrology collided approaching the first turn. Greysynd Chief and Twist Of Thunder collided on the first turn. Astrology and Quantum Bale collided on the second turn. Greysynd Chief checked off Staggerlicious several times in the back straight.
Samples were taken from the placegetters of the event - Absolute Silence (1st), Astrology (2nd) and Quantum Bale (3rd).
