Following the event Proven Pops collapsed in the catching pen. As a result the greyhound was vetted following the event. It was reported that the greyhound experienced exercise induced ataxia (PEDS) and a siezure. A stand down period of three days was imposed. Stewards spoke to Mr. S. Williams, the handler of Proven Pops and advised him that acting in accordance with GAR 74, Stewards directed that Proven Pops must perform a Satisfactory Trial (all tracks) before any future nomination will be accepted.

Woolly Warbo was vetted following the event. It was reported that the greyhound sustained a left shoulder injury. A stand down period of 7 days was imposed.

Gunnewin was quick. Derail and Call Me Waylan were slow to begin. Derail and Call Me Waylan collided soon after the start. Call Me Waylan checked off Ultimate Paddy on the first turn. Stockholm and Gunnewin collided on the first turn checking Gunnewin. Gunnewin and Call Me Waylan collided approaching the home turn checking both greyhounds. Eighteen Two was a late scratching at 14:59 due to weight variation (GAR 39). A 10 day stand down period was imposed. Trainer Mr. M. Bird was fined the sum of $100.

Dundas Boy and Fireball Jack were slow to begin. Become The Fuse crossed to the rail on thr first turn checking Tear It Down and Dundas Boy. Kazmic's Spirit crossed to the outside entering the back straight checking Tear It Down, Dundas Boy and Zamperini.

Zamperini was vetted following the event. It was reported that the greyhound sustained a fractured right stopper bone. A stand down period of 28 days was imposed.

Kevin Wright, trainer of Rampaging Rosie declared a new weight of 28.6kg for the greyhound in accordance with GAR 39(2). Rampaging Rosie last raced at 27.5kg.

Rampaging Rosie and Mud Kipper were slow to begin. Mud Kipper checked off Nuggy Burger on the first turn. Zipping Noel checked off Rampaging Rosie on the first turn. Rampaging Rosie was vetted following the event. It was reported that the greyhound sustained a right hock sprain and a left back muscle tear. A stand down period of 7 days was imposed.

Big Ticket was slow to begin. Zoltina's Legacy, Kyl's Me Mate and Batty Allen collided soon after the start checking Batty Allen and Kyl's Me Mate.
