Steward's Report
Stewards spoke to Mr T. Mitchell, handler of the greyhound Captain Pete which had not raced since 18 April 2016. Mr Mitchell stated that the greyhound was new to the kennel and had recovered from wrist injuries.
Lady Goddess, Tooralee, Fiery Felix and Destini Tenor were slow to begin. Lady Goddess, Tooralee, Fiery Felix and Destini Tenor collided soon after the start, and again approaching the first turn, checking all four greyhounds. Shezza's Nitro checked off Dane Daisy on the first turn. Shezza's Nitro and Destini Tenor collided on the home turn, and again entering the home straight, severely checking both greyhounds.
